What conversations regarding thongs have you had recently?

Has someone new found out? Were they curious about them being mens vs womens? What was their reaction?

Personally some friends have known over the years, but I havent talked to any guy friends about my interests face to face. The above questions could be face to face or via text etc.

Funny you ask now because it's not all that common that I talk to people other than my gf about thongs, but yesterday I wore a thong on the beach for the first time. In the couple weeks prior, I warned my guy friend that went with me that I was going to do it. He not only encouraged me but was inspired to experiment with it himself He didn't do it on the beach but ordered a couple off Amazon to try out as underwear.

Posted a pic from the beach to my "close friends" Instagram story, which prompted a few reactions from female and fem-nonbinary friends like "Yeah!!", "Y E S," "Legend," and my favorite, "Fuck yes!! 😂🔥 Rock that thong!" Went on to talk to a couple of them about how it was a bucket list item for me and about how everyone should own their weirdness (thong-related or not). One friend said they wished they had the confidence to rock it (I encouraged them and said they totally would, but only if they want to). Another asked a couple questions about whether it was men's or women's (it was men's) why it was on my bucket list, and whether I find them comfy lol

I want to get one of my female friends to wear a thong on the beach. She owns several bikinis and she likes to go to the beach, but I don't know if she has any thong bikinis. I know her from church, so she might be a little conservative.

How should I start the conversation? FYI, I am a regular thong wearer on the beach, but my female friend doesn't know about it.
