Hey guys, most ppl on here talk bout thongs and what others wear, but I thought it’d be fun to see what everyone actually wears themselves!

From what I seen a lot of you are into thongs too, but i’m curious to see more mix and what the quiet ones wear too. I tried to put all the main options in the poll I seen ppl mention around the forum. If something not clear like if names are not universal I made a quick pic showing the styles talked about here before. Got help from another member who didn't want to be credited to make the pic with ai, thanks for that!

Boxer briefs as my every day wear, thongs when I want to feel sexy
I cant wear thongs as my everyday wear since I dont want to have a boner all the time
I do love to wear thongs for the right occasions though

I tried wearing a male thong back in university and really liked how it fit and he front support was amazing. But I was too nervous to try wear it casually. I wore them for running, but the last time I did, during warm up, I accidentally flashed two women on a local park trail because it apparently showed through my white shorts when I stretched. I only noticed because they laughed and said something pointed that I didn’t catch as they ran past me, slowing down to look back and make eye contact. I didn’t know them but I think they were trying to recognise me or remember my face. I was so embarrassed and nervous about running into them again that I didn’t dare wear it for a run anymore, even though I don’t think I’ve ever seen those women again.

Those thongs stayed buried in my wardrobe for years until an ex girlfriend finally found one early in our relationship. I panicked and said it was a joke gift from a guy friend she didn’t know because she gave me such a weird look. She was very conservative and would not have approved in a million years 🤣

After that I got rid of them and haven’t had the urge to change that.

 
These days, I mostly wear boxer briefs or trunks depending on how you’d classify them from the picture. I stick with those especially through spring, fall, and winter since they’re warmer. When I go running or hit the gym after work (about three times a week) I switch to something more like the hip briefs in your picture because they’re better for movement. Boxer briefs tend to ride up on my thighs, so briefs just work better for workouts, that’s all. I try avoid wearing them to work, though, and switch before the gym since a few friends have joked about them showing through my pants before and I’d rather avoid my coworkers thinking about it...

But my partner actually likes when I wear them too, so I sometimes put on a fresh pair after a workout. She’ll often sneak a quick feel to see what I’m wearing, which is funny because I do the same to check if she’s in a thong. We’ve never talked about it, but it adds a fun bit of tension. It’s obvious she puts on the ones I like most when she’s in the mood, and I’ll do the same for her when I am. I keep it occasional to keep things playful and her guessing. Honestly, it’s a win-win for me. I get to wear something comfortable and she get a little extra excited. The only thing that sucks when I wear briefs is my girlfriend :p
 
My daily wear is a G-string or a thong. I prefer G-stings as there's less material and I find them more comfortable and sexier.

If I'm going out to bars and clubs I wear no underwear. I don't want the other women to know that's what I wear and I feel sexier wearing nothing.

Where do you buy your thongs? Is it in a store and how does the cashiers react?

understandable haha… but why not something smaller than a boxer brief if you like the minimalist feel?

I usually buy them from Victoria's Secret online. I have bought them in store before and the cashiers just say "Would you like a gift receipt?" and I say "no". I want to say "No they're for me" as I smile lol. Ebay also has some good vintage Victoria's Secret G-string/V-strings from the early 2010's that I buy sometimes.
I wouldn't mind trying some Frederick's of Hollywood G-strings sometime.

I also like Beach Revolution (BR swimwear) and Wicked Weasel bikini's.

This was back in 2015, so I don't remember exactly how they looked, but I thought they were around 30-40 years old. I was only 20 at the time, so I might have overestimated their ages. At that age, the 25-35 range doesn’t really exist, people were either "young" or "middle-aged" haha.

It wasn’t a tail, but it showed through the shorts when they were tight, and my T-shirt rode up from stretching. When I checked in the mirror at home, it looked pretty much like this classic, but with a bluish tint from a black thong instead.

 
Men's thongs are my everyday underwear. Has been for over 15 years now. I like to go commando when I can, but if I have underwear on, it's always a thong.

My obsession with thongs on women is what got me to try them, but what keeps me wearing them is that I actually find them the to be the most comfortable underwear style for all-day wear. This will sound crazy to people who don't wear them, but thongs are ironically the only underwear style that doesn't give me all day wedgies. Boxers/briefs/boxerbriefs all ride up my ass during the day, and I'm constantly fixing the most uncomfortable wedgies. Despite how they look, a good thong feels natural and non-invasive. You don't even notice it between your buttcheeks, and it stays put so you never have to worry about adjusting. They are the most low maintenance underwear style.

I don't think I've ever tried men's thongs. They've always been women's. I prefer the material,patterns and designs of women's thongs. I love the colors and fun frilly vibes the women's underwear has compared to men's. To me men's underwear feels plain,bland, and serious like "I'm not here to screw around". Well I am here to screw around and have some fun! You probably won't find men's underwear with the girly designs and vibes which I absolutely love.
