Any older thong wearers out there?

I started wearing thongs regularly about a month or two ago. I like them, they're comfortable, and I'm free from chafing, but I have to admit there is a part of me that questions my decision. I'm 60, for Pete's sake, and the ripped bod I had in my Army days are long gone. There is a part of me that says "Grow up and dress your age!" but that is the same voice that kept me from wearing them for 30 years. That and I thought people expected different from me, being married and straight.

This is a battle I fight constantly in my head. Can anyone relate?
 
You are your biggest critic. You can still proudly wear thongs at 60 years old. In fact, I know a couple of thongers who are in their 60s and 70s.

Let me reassure you—you’re not alone in this internal struggle. I am 33 years old, and I’ve been wearing thongs for over 20 years. Even to this day, I keep my underwear and swimwear preferences private. A lot of young men face the same challenge when switching to thongs, fearing the judgment they might receive.

I hope this site can help boost your confidence. A lot of us are on this forum because we cannot be so open in the real world.

I’m 51 and I’ve been wearing thongs off and on since I was 20. When I started out I used to wear them on the beach in Florida. That was always a blast. In the last couple years I have increased my thong wearing. I have recently gotten more fit and feel rejuvenated in my desire to wear thongs. I’ve been sunbathing in them a lot in my backyard and have been walking around my yard not caring if my neighbors can see me. I feel I’m at a point where I just want to be free and don’t care what other people think. Plus I love having a thong tan line!

I’m 47. I tried my first thongs when I was 13 (my mom’s thongs). I was wearing her lingerie from time to time. I started to buy my own thongs when I was around 25. It took me 20 years to realize the only way I feel good is when I wear feminine lingerie. In 2020, I began to wear thongs everyday and all day, even at work and even when I was with family and friends. I think I can’t come back to male’s underwear now. In fact, I don’t want to come back to boxers. I feel good wearing thongs and bras. It was a long way to accept that but I am more happy now and don’t care what other people think if they see my whaletail.
 
I'm 36. I wear thongs inconsistently. I still have feeling like I'm weird for wearing a thong at times so I don't wear them as much as I would like.

Don’t feel weird. Wearing thongs is just a normal thing for many people. If you love thongs, wear them. Nobody knows, so nobody can judge you.
Do you wear male or female thongs ?
