Well!
No idea what the whaletail-community is generally into, but as someone who values feminine aesthetics and projection more than what a person has between their legs, I'm really curious about the prevalence of thongs among trans women. Relevant market research exists for sure, but I'm not yet willing to fork out a small fortune for the privilege.
Perhaps there is no difference, and that the choice relies a lot on avoiding VPLs with specific outfits. Or maybe the fact that thongs are considered something that only women wear (generally), make them more appealing to someone who had to wear the 'wrong' clothes for a long time. Oooor perhaps they're less common, because... I have no clue! I have searched around on Reddit, but as you can imagine, the bag is very mixed and politically charged.
Thoughts and insights are appreciated, from any and all!
