I am an amateur cyclist and in many years I have never seen a female cyclist wearing a thong under her shorts, this is mainly because you really shouldn't wear any type of underwear with cycling bib shorts, as they are unnecessary, uncomfortable and can cause irritation . This July I had the incredible fortune of meeting this mature lady and was able to snap a few photos, needless to say I was extremely excited about the situation. I hope you appreciate it because, I repeat, it is practically impossible to find a female cyclist who wears a thong while racing, so this must be considered an exceptional candid!

 
I saw a few in the last cycling club I was in. Never got any pictures sadly.

A couple of them were in their early 30s, quite new to cycling and both came from a running background where they'd obviously wear underwear so didn't realise they shouldn't when cycling. One of those stopped once she found out you wear bib shorts without underwear. The other I ended up getting on really well with and we'd message each other a lot and somehow the topic came up and she told me she knew she shouldn't but felt weird not wearing any underwear - we'd go out for rides just the two of us fairly regularly so I wasn't complaining when I was sat behind her going up a hill.

There was a third one that also wore thongs, she was slightly overweight with a big ass, probably about 40ish. The shorts she'd wear were obviously cheap because they were thin and in the right light, slightly see-through so there was always clear VTLs. I didn't ride with her much but always a nice view when I did. Sometimes she'd even be wearing a g-string.
