• Thanks for bearing with me while I make some changes to the site to ensure it's long term survival. I have now made the celebrity video section open to all users! No password required! :)

Not complaining - just clarifying what I believe, it's because there's no S in the https. it's only insecure http which your browser warns you about. Your XF host should be able to get you a free cert through lets encrypt.
Thanks, I will look into it!

Former web developer here. Server requests started by the site such as login does not work because "CORS" checks fail in modern browsers I have tried. Had to disable web security in my browser which is not good. I am sure there is some sort of manual for how to deal with it in this platform.

You can see it yourself if you "right click > Inspect > Console" and reload the page.

So are you saying the site itself is antiquated?

Maybe but I would think XenForo settings have been screwed up by mistake at some point or in some upgrade of the site.

But like someone else said before the site also does not have a SSL certificate so it is HTTP and not HTTPS. This means most browsers will try to block some functionality to protect their users because without the secure connection anyone in the middle between you and the site can change what is being sent or take credentials.
