Anyone know what it's like in the Philippines? I have a few Filipina friends whose parents are devout Catholics. So, their underwear choice while growing up was quite limited. Even today, they only wear full back briefs even though they've got some ass.

But then, I follow this Youtuber who is based in the Philippines, and he tells me that Pinay girls are quite open minded. Tbh, I don't know what he does, but he had a few models working for him. My experience is from over 10 years ago, but to me it seemed that thong wearing wasn't as prevalent as it is in the US. Not even close. I only saw two thongs ever during all my visits and both girls were caucasians from Australia. Just taking a wild guess here but I would think thong wearing is probably more prevalent in the younger stripper gold-digger types trying to woo a rich old foreigner into rescuing them from poverty (sorry for the stereotype but it does occur way way way too often)

Toronto
Toronto is the largest and the most multi-cultural city in Canada. There is a huge Latin American and Caribbean population in Toronto and I believe that thong wearing is very much prevalent in these communities.

We all know that Latinas are avid thong wearers and this is also true in Toronto. Whenever I go to a beach in Toronto, I see many Latinas in thong swimsuits. They’re usually the ones that wear the skimpiest thongs on the beach.

I don’t know much about Caribbean culture, but every year, there is a big Caribbean festival in Toronto. I’ve seen photos of this event, and let me tell you, a lot of people come to the parade with very little clothing on.





These are online photos of the Toronto Caribana. As you can see, there are quite a few people in thongs, and my guess is you won’t find this much thong wearing at any other cultural event.

Vancouver
People in Vancouver are very laid back. This is where Lululemon started business, and you see a lot of women in leggings and yoga pants. Obviously, those who wear tight leggings and yoga pants are likely to wear thongs to hide panty-lines. On the beach, there are a lot of women in cheeky style swimsuits. Cheekies are the norm on the beaches of Vancouver.

Just got back from a business trip in Singapore. It's interesting as it is a multicultural Asian nation, but quite Westernized as well. Many of the women wear flowier clothes (longer dresses, skirts, etc) or higher waisted pants, but thongs seem to be quite popular, probably due to Westernization. I saw many see through pants and dresses/skirts, although most of them were European/American tourists. I saw 2 seemingly local women with see through clothes, one wearing a black thong under a tight black dress and another wearing a black thong under a white skirt, along with many visible thong lines through tight leggings/pants/dresses/skirts. There's also a lot of women at the massage parlors (or "wellness" centers) and clubs with extremely short, tight skirts and the bottom of their butts hanging out, one girl bent down to pick up something and flashed her thong to everyone on the street (maybe on purpose). Additionally, I passed by multiple lingerie/clothing stores with thongs clearly on display or heavily advertised.

All in all, thongs seem quite popular here, though whaletails are harder to come by from locals, mostly have to rely on VTLs and see throughs. Thongs have definitely been on the rise in the more "Western" portions of Asia (Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong), and Singapore seems to fit into that. Bold prediction: within the next 5 years or so, thongs in the nations I mentioned will be extremely popular, rivaling the US and such, especially as the older population, who usually sees them as more taboo since they were born before westernization, get older and older.

They were both East Asian, most likely Chinese. Couldn't really tell about Indian or Malay locals, as their clothes tended to be more flowy and cover more, but it's possible they were wearing them. Some of the massage parlor ladies might have been Thai. I was in the Filipino populated areas for a while and a lot of the women were wearing tight leggings/pants, but no VPLs so thongs are likely I assume.

As a Korean myself, I can definitely see that thongs are on the rise in Korea. Koreans tend to pick up western trends quickly, and it seems to me that a lot of Korean women are not afraid to show some cheeks in public.

I was in Singapore quite often for business, every 2 or 3 month for at least 2 weeks. I met a girl there in a club, we hooked up and since then we met every time when I was there.
Her mother is Chinese and her father is from UK, she's born and lives in Singapore. She always wore short skirts or tight trousers.
When we first fucked I undressed her and was surprised as she wore the most skimpie G-String I ever saw on a girl.

I’m currently at the Seychelles on vacation. I would think the would be a lot of young girls tanning and enjoying life in thong but not that much. I went to different beaches, the ones where only the locals go to were boring, but as soon as you go to beaches near hotels you get the difference.

Some moms with very young kids in a small thong and some girls with their friends tanning, showing everything they have. One girl would walk in front of me in her green thong and big ass to join her friends but I didn’t see where she went. When i decide to leave the beach, I found her with another girl wearing the skimpiest pink g-string again walking in front of me, couldn’t take my eyes of.
